University Dining Wins Pioneering Efforts Award from City of Raleigh

University Dining received the 2013 Pioneering Efforts Award, one of the City of Raleigh’s Environmental Awards for its sustainability efforts. University Dining recycles all of its oil waste, has tray-less dining halls, and practices 100 percent composting. It also launched the “My Roots are at NC State” campaign, which purchases local products and ties in alumni partners.
